Re-elect Corey Ragsdale, District 4 County Commissioner

Keeping Cherokee County a Great Place to Live, Work and Play!

About Corey

Corey with his wife, Angela, and daughter, Everley in Yellowstone National Park.

I am excited to announce I am running for re-election as Cherokee County Commissioner, District 4!  As you may know, I am a lifelong resident of Cherokee and my family has a long history here – over 190 years of living and working in this great county!  Contributing to our local government over the past 7 years has been an honor and extremely rewarding as your commissioner.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Angela, for almost 17 years and we have a 12 year old daughter, Everley.

During the past 7 years as your commissioner, I have helped to keep county controlled taxes low, enforced the land use plan, supported the public safety departments including the Sheriff’s office, Marhsall’s office and Fire Department as well helping to update local laws and ordinances to adapt to the growing needs of the county.

For my next term, I plan to continue focus on parks and recreation in District 4. I want to focus on road improvements and maintenance while also following the land use plan to promote responsible growth within my district of Cherokee County.
